Vegan Chocolate Cake with Vegan Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream

Ingredients
Vegan Chocolate Cake Layers
1 cup non-dairy milk I use Earth’s Own Oat Milk
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups 340 grams white sugar
2/3 cup 120ML vegetable or canola oil
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 cup hot coffee
2/3 cup cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Vegan Chocolate Swiss Meringue Buttercream
1 cup aquafaba liquid from a can of chickpeas
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup vegan butter softened
1 cup vegetable shortening
1/2 cup melted chocolate
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
